Jennifer Erwin

Chief Executive Director

Ms. Jen started working in childcare in 2006. It wasn't long before she realized that all children deserved quality care and she wanted to make that happen. In 2012, after graduating from Ashworth College in Early Childhood, she opened her 1st Childcare center in the New Orleans area. In 2022 she knew that quality childcare was needed more than ever and she opened a Center in the St. Tammany area. Ms. Jen currently holds her Louisiana Ancillary Certificate.

Amelia Cortello

Curriculum Specialist

Ms. Amelia has worked in Early Childcare since 2016. She began her role as a part-time teacher's-aid while finishing high school. Shortly after she graduated she became the Toddler Lead Teacher. Ms. Amelia currently holds a CDA and is continuing her education and working towards her bachelor's degree. Ms. Amelia oversees the curriculum as well she is a CLASS reliable observer.

Nichole Lefevre

Director

1st Academy of Kenner

Ms. Nichole started her career in Early Childhood in 2006. In 2012 she became the Director of 1st Academy in Kenner. Ms. Nichole is passionate about teaching and is the lead teacher of 1st Acedemy of Kenner's Pre-k Program. Ms. Nichole is also a Toddler CLASS observer and currenly has her CDA and Louisiana Ancillary Certificate.
